Good article. A lot of people can turn their skills into making money on the web. I started writing articles for clients, mostly friends, who owned websites but hated to do their own writing.

Now I provide content to more than 100 companies. It seriously can work out.

Thank you. I also started in the web design business completely as a hobby. I had a guy I worked with tell me that I wasn't 'smart' enough to learn how to build a personal web page when I asked him to show me how he had built his own.

It motivated my quite a bit, as the last 12 years online show.

My company now builds sites for brand new home based start ups all the way up to fortune 500 companies. I've been very fortunate, and am very thankful for what the good Lord has given me.

But it did start as a hobby and grew into what it is today. I honestly believe that this is primarily because it was not only my hobby, but my passion. And it still is my passion today. I practically leap out of bed every morning.

Thanks for your comments and I hope your business continues to grow, and that your passion for your work continues to grow with it.
