Many new professionals, even some "seasoned" professionals, struggle with writing formal proposals. Proposals are even more important when owning your own business. They come in handy in various areas such as the office, consulting or selling equipment.

    Thanks for the post, JaneMay. As owner of a Web development firm, I'm responsible for our Proposals. I think we meet most of what you outline, but there are a couple of points where we can do better. I'll be reworking our boilerplate based on this.

      Proposals are such a specialized thing to whatever your market is, in this instance web development. But having a foundation will keep you focused on the bigger picture. Great to hear you have experience with this and you found value.
