I'm not so sure that it's a bad thing that it's old news. The reminder that it gives us to hear it every so often can serve some good.
I try not to write about old stuff, but when I have students coming to me asking me for help and I see a pictures of them pounding a 40oz., well I'm not so sure that they ever heard the news.

I agree that this kind of thing should be pointed out every once in a while, old or not, because there are obviously a lot of people that put things online without ever giving a second thought to the possible consequences. Why subject oneself to the chance of becoming almost un-hirable for the satisfaction of posting some crazy stories and photos that will briefly amuse friends.

Another topic along this line.... what is your email address. YEAH, like I'm going to hire someone as a business manager who's email address is redhot******xxx69@hotmail.com and actually puts that on a resume. (You have NO IDEA how often I see that! Do you REALLY think you'll get a second of business consideration?) No, if you NEED that email address, FINE, just do not bring it to work OR put it on your resume. Get a real email address!
