"Google runs 11 free gourmet cafeterias at its Mountain View, Calif., headquarters, and offers all its employees free gourmet meals." how awesome is that, I have a sandwich for lunch everyday.

How about a new category? The best companies to work for and get out of?

Top of the list: General Electric

Perks: Understaffed, sweat shop environment, disconnected and impotent management, below market pay, dwindling benefits, weak CEO, etc.

But they do have cool commercials.

interestingly the only rochester based company is Wegmans which is probably the greatest grocery store in the usa. Its interesting is all the employees you encounter are always so happy to be there.

Whole Foods at #5... I believe it. Every time I go in to the Union Square NYC branch (great beer!) the cashiers seem so happy. I always thought it was something in the water. :)
